Project Management for Non-Project Managers
Introduction to the Components and Techniques of Managing Projects
It is not uncommon for people unfamiliar with
project management to be put in positions
to support projects and project managers.
They may even be asked to lead projects. To
be a more effective project team member or
team leader - or even if you are in a project
support role - a basic understanding of project
management principles is essential.
This course introduces the concepts and
techniques included in PMI®’s A Guide to
the Project Management Body of Knowledge
(PMBOK® Guide). It provides insight into the
role of a project manager, as well as giving
suggestions on how support personnel can aid
in the success of a project.
