Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Incorporate Best Practices for Program and Project Management Systems
This course is also part of the Advanced Project Management Certification: The Kerzner Approach®
to Best Practices (APMC®) curriculum. For more information, see page 30.
The EVMS processes incorporate best practices
for program and project management systems
that require strong applications for program or
enterprise planning and control.
The processes include integration of program
scope, schedule and cost objectives;
establishment of a baseline plan for
accomplishment of program objectives;
and use of Earned Value Management
techniques for performance measurement
during the execution of a program. EVMS
provides a solid platform for risk identification,
corrective actions and necessary management
replanning.
The emphasis of this course is on the latest
EVMS principles and concepts in accordance
with changes and guidelines for Earned
