This course will address managing complex
projects and programs using Project Server
2007 and Project Professional 2007. It requires
practitioners to apply project management
methodology and experience to the
management of projects and program
schedules in a Microsoft Office Enterprise
Project Management (EPM) 2007 environment.
Prerequisites
A solid understanding of key project
management concepts and terminology
as found in PMI®’s A Guide to the Project
Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®
Guide) is recommended. Extensive hands-on
experience is also recommended in both
Project Professional 2007 and Project Web
Access 2007.
Project Orange Belt® and Project Blue Belt®
courses are required before taking Black Belt.
However, participants may skip these prerequisite courses if they can demonstrate successful
completion of the equivalent Microsoft
certification exam(s).
