Developing the Business Case
Defining the Business Problem and Solution Scope
This course is also part of the Advanced Project Management Certification: The Kerzner Approach®
to Best Practices (APMC®) curriculum. For more information, see page 30.
Business Analysts must be able to create
business case documents that highlight
project benefits, costs and risks. The business
case is based on the real business problem to
be solved, and the business case documents
become parts of proposals, feasibility studies
and other decision support documents.
This course teaches the purpose, structure and
content of a business case. It presents the basic
techniques for determining financial return
on investment, non-tangible benefits and the
probability of meeting expectations.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course - it
